PORTH (Personalized Orthodontics)
Dr. Rooz Khosravi started PORTH Personalized Orthodontics in 2017. They provide custom solutions to give patients perfect smiles and boost confidence. PORTH has two completely digital clinics in Sammamish & Bellevue. Dr. Rooz offers lingual braces and orthodontic services for people of all ages, making him a unique orthodontist.
As a second generation dentist in his family, Dr. Rooz’s interest in dentistry began early in his life. As a child, he spent a lot of time in his mother's dental practice. There, he learned the importance of caring for patients of all ages.
Dr. Rooz received training at the University of Washington, a world renowned program in orthodontics. He teaches orthodontics at the University of Washington School of Dentistry as an assistant professor.
He teaches students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He holds a masters degree in oral public health and a PhD in bone biology. Less than 1% of orthodontists have such credentials, making him exceptionally trained and qualified in the field.

The PORTH Story
Early in his residency at the University of Washington, Dr. Rooz and his wife went for a hike east of Seattle.
On the way home they stopped at Homegrown in Sammamish, and immediately felt something for this place. Dr. Rooz loved the Sammamish small town feel, with a diverse population and a strong sense that it was on the brink of change. This town was growing in leaps and bounds, and he wanted to be a part of it.
A few weeks later, Dr. Rooz's real estate broker introduced him to TRF Sammamish Project and the rest is history!

He has published his own work in addition to acting as a peer reviewer. His current research at UW focuses primarily on the use of technology in the field of orthodontics, and how it can help orthodontists optimize their treatment plans and outcomes for patients.
