POSITION SUMMARY

The orthodontic clinical assistant is responsible for working directly with the orthodontist to provide exceptional care to our patients.


This position is part-time OR full-time (20-40 hours per week). Our team work on evenings and a two Saturdays a month in Sammamish. Compensation and benefits are based on the levels of experience.

 

We provide training to the right candidate. We have had team members that started with us and pursued dental school training to become a dentist. We welcome driven candidates with any dental career path goal. 


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

A High School Diploma is required. Additionally, one year of experience in the orthodontic field is preferred.


Active Washington State dental assistant registration is required within 3 weeks of hire date.


We are looking for an individual who is interested in a long-term position to grow with us.


We will provide further technical training (e.g.: 3D printing) to the right candidate. A positive attitude, a desire to learn, drive, and a strong work ethic are our priorities.


Excellent references and clear background check are required.


responsibilities


The primary responsibilities of this position include:


(i) Assisting with direct care provided to patients. Working closely in a team of other assistants, treatment coordinator and scheduling coordinator.


(ii) Operating smoothly and efficiently through our digital workflow (we will provide the required training.)


(iii) Capturing extremely high quality 2D and 3D images including intraoral scans, radiographic images, intra and extra oral photography.


(iv) Projecting the culture of our clinic while delivering treatment; individually tailored care.


**Our clinic primarily provides clear aligners, lingual braces and the skills on required to assist with this treatment modality will be provided to the right candidate.**


SKills & ABILITIES


Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills are required in order to maintain effective rapport with patients, parents, doctor, other team members, and members of the community. We expect a consistently professional demeanor, particularly in challenging situations.


Verbal: Effective verbal skills are required to communicate with patients and parents in person, via phone and written communication such as email, etc.


Computer: Proficiency in data entry, patient tracking, use of imaging software.


Other: Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
